MEDIA ALERT- COUNTRY LIVING FAIR RETURNS TO ATLANTA, GA, OCTOBER 26-28

WHAT: The Country Living Fair brings the magazine’s content to life and gives readers access to a unique shopping experience in four special outdoor settings across the country. Each Fair features 200+ vendors from over 25 states. Vendors include: antiques sellers, food purveyors, artists, furniture makers, crafters, and more. Guests will also have a chance to meet Country Living editors and special guests; attend cooking, crafting, and DIY demonstrations and book signings; sample locally sourced, artisanal food; and participate in make & take workshops.

WHEN: October 26, 27, 28

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Gates open for Early Bird ticket holders at 8:30 a.m. Friday & Saturday.

WHERE: Event Meadow on the grounds of Stone Mountain Park, a scenic recreation area 16 miles east of downtown Atlanta [Exit 8 off of U.S. Highway 78]

11:30 a.m.: Kitchen Stage: Briana Carson of Crave Pie will be doing a cooking demo of her American Heritage Apple Pie.

12:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Annie Sloan, creator of Chalk Paint®, will present tips and techniques for using Chalk Paint®, followed by a signing of her bookazine, The Colourist. Bookazines will also be available for purchase onsite.

1:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Trace Barnett of The Bitter Socialite & Food Network Star Season 13 will be doing a cooking demo of his Bourbon Sweet Tea Turkey with a Molasses Glaze and Cornish Spiced Hens with Chocolate Gravy, followed by a signing of his book Tracing Roots: A Modern Approach to Living Off the Land. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

2:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Kim Leggett of City Farmhouse & author of City Farmhouse Style will present the evolution of farmhouse style, followed by a signing of her book City Farmhouse Style. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27

11:00 a.m.: Main Stage: Annie Sloan, creator of Chalk Paint®, will present tips and techniques for using Chalk Paint®, followed by a signing of her bookazine, The Colourist. Bookazines will also be available for purchase onsite.

2:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Joanne Palmisano, award-winning interior designer & regular DIY Network contributor, will present design and DIY ideas to decorate using vintage and recycled materials, followed by a signing of her book Styling with Salvage. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

2:30 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Chef Elliott Farmer, Food Network TV personality, will be doing a cooking demo of his Grilled Chicken & Mango Salsa, followed by a signing of his cookbook Chef Elliott’s Soulstice Recipes. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

3:30 p.m.: Main Stage: Max Humphrey of Max Humphrey Interior Design will present design tips and tricks.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28

11:00 a.m.: Main Stage: Sue Whitney of JunkMarket Style will present tips for designing beautiful she sheds, followed by a signing for her book Junk Beautiful: She Sheds. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

12:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Joanne Palmisano, award-winning interior designer & regular DIY Network contributor, will present design and DIY ideas to decorate using vintage and recycled materials, followed by a signing of her book Styling with Salvage. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

TICKETS: One-day admission is $13 in advance and $18 at the door; three-day weekend passes are available for $15 in advance and $25 at the door;

An Early Bird three-day weekend pass is available for $30 in advance and $40 at the door, and grants early admission at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday;

Free admission for children ages 16 and under.

The Fair is held rain or shine and usual parking fees apply.
